• It is imperative that you know that the parish priest nor any other member from the parish staff will EVER reach out to you, either via email or text, requesting your help.
  This is just one example of scam email and / or text:
  "How are you, this is (father…), are you busy now? Please text/email me when you can, I have a matter to treat with you."
  Please know that if you respond to this message, the scammer will soon ask you to wire money or send him gift card information.
  Remember, No PRIEST or staff member will ever ask you for any kind of this help.
  
  Es super importante que usted sepa que el sacerdote o ningún otro miembro del personal de la parroquia NUNCA se comunicará con usted, ya sea por correo electrónico o mensaje de texto, para solicitar su ayuda.
  El próximo es solo un ejemplo de correo electrónico o texto fraudulento que usted pudiera recibir:
  "¿Cómo estás, este es (padre…), estás ocupado/a ahora mismo? Envíame un mensaje de texto o correo electrónico en cuanto puedas, tengo un asunto muy importante que tratar."
  Tenga en cuenta que, si responde a este mensaje, el estafador pronto le pedirá que transfiera dinero o que compres tarjetas prepagadas.
  Recuerde, ningún SACERDOTE o miembro del personal le pedirá este tipo de ayuda.
